.-La Secretar\u00eda de Salud del Tolima, se encuentra trabajando en una actualizaci\u00f3n de las gu\u00edas y protocolos de atenci\u00f3n en los hospitales de los 25 municipios del departamento que presentan las mayores tasas de incidencia de dengue, el prop\u00f3sito de esta iniciativa es evaluar y mejorar la adherencia a trav\u00e9s de capacitaciones a los protocolos existentes, garantizando una atenci\u00f3n \u00f3ptima para los pacientes y en \u00faltima instancia, reducir al m\u00ednimo el riesgo de mortalidad por dengue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Iniciamos con el hospital San Juan de Dios de Honda, all\u00ed se realiz\u00f3 una capacitaci\u00f3n al personal m\u00e9dico y de enfermer\u00eda local para garantizar que los protocolos se apliquen de manera efectiva \u201crecordemos que por dengue no debe morir ninguna persona es una enfermedad de mortalidad prevenible, cuando la comunidad percibe los s\u00edntomas debe acudir prontamente a la instituci\u00f3n de salud para que sea tratado por el m\u00e9dico y evitar mayores complicaciones\u201d indic\u00f3 el referente de ETV, Eduardo Lozano.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Este esfuerzo conjunto tiene como objetivo principal evaluar la eficacia de los protocolos existentes y asegurarse de que se sigan al pie de la letra en cada hospital.
