Los municipios donde hoy se presentan casos son: Cunday, Prado, Dolores, Purificaci\u00f3n, Villarrica, Ataco y Palocabildo.
Se fortalece la vacunaci\u00f3n en cada uno de los territorios y poblaciones vecinas.
51 casos positivos por la enfermedad reporta el departamento. 21 de ellos son mortalidades.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Desde Bogot\u00e1 la secretaria de Salud de los tolimenses, Katherine Rengifo Hern\u00e1ndez, confirm\u00f3 el primer caso de fiebre amarilla en el norte del departamento. \u201cHoy tenemos focos de la enfermedad en el oriente, sur y uno nuevo en el norte con un caso confirmado en Palocabildo\u201d, expres\u00f3 la funcionaria.
De este caso se conoce que se trata de un masculino de 38 a\u00f1os quien recibe atenci\u00f3n en el hospital Federico Lleras Acosta, de Ibagu\u00e9, centro de referencia departamental para esta enfermedad.
As\u00ed las cosas, el Tolima acumula 51 casos en los municipios de: Cunday (14 casos), Prado (12), Dolores (2), Purificaci\u00f3n (4), Villarrica (12), Ataco (6) y Palocabildo (1).
En Puesto de Mando Unificado (PMU) realizado ayer domingo el lineamiento es reforzar las acciones de vacunaci\u00f3n en todos los municipios focos y poblaciones vecinas. El biol\u00f3gico se aplica a la poblaci\u00f3n mayor de 9 meses de edad.
\u201cAc\u00e1 el llamado es a la conciencia de cada tolimense, que no debemos esperar que la fiebre amarilla toque nuestra familia; toque la puerta de nuestra casa o de nuestro municipio. Entender que hoy la soluci\u00f3n la tenemos en nuestras manos y es la vacuna contra con una sola dosis de por vida. La amenaza tiene color y es fiebre amarilla\u201d, indic\u00f3 la funcionaria.
